Online Shop / Deliveries
Our online shop is hosted by the Open Food Network.
You can browse through our produce (updated weekly – mainly eggs, bread, veg and meat) like a normal online shop, fill your basket and then “check out”, paying using a debit or credit card.
Orders open on Saturday morning (8am) and close on Sunday evening (8pm). Orders are fortnightly throughout the winter – please see the online shop for the next order and delivery dates.
We deliver between Elphin and Leckmelm (including all of Ullapool and Braes) on Tuesday mornings, from 10:30am onwards.
If you’re not in our delivery area, or you just fancy a drive out, you can choose to pick up your order from The Elphin Tearooms on Tuesday, between 3pm and 6pm. Alternately, we can meet you somewhere along our delivery route, or leave it with someone else if they can bring it back for you.
If you just want meat and eggs, we can arrange pickup at alternative times – just put an order in at least 3 days ahead of your desired pickup time, send us an email to let us know when you want to pick up, and we should be able to get it organised for you. Unfortunately veg is picked to order on our delivery/pickup day only, and bread is only baked on certain days, so it’s usually only the meat and eggs we can do “on demand”.
We do request that you leave a chiller box out for any meat orders (meat is supplied frozen) and provide instructions for where you want your goods left if you are not home to receive them. We cannot take responsibility for goods after we have delivered them, and will leave goods on your doorstep if nobody is home and we have no other instructions although we do our best to find a safe and obvious place to leave things.
In person (the Farmshop)
We have a small farmshop in the Elphin Tearooms (currently closed for the winter – reopening April 2025).
Our farmshop freezer focuses on easy-cooking meat (like sausages, burgers, chops and mince), with a few bigger pieces from time to time, so if you want to see the full range of meat, have a look online and we can always pack an order for you to pickup when you’re at the Tearooms.
Vegetables are very much “what’s available on the day”. Many of our suppliers prioritise the online shop, however we’re trying to keep a regular supply of a range of different vegetables in the farmshop too.
We’re also working on a getting a supply of locally made non-perishable items like jams and chutneys in stock as well.
The farmshop is mainly for products from Green Bowl suppliers within Elphin, but will also carry other locally made products from further afield, such as Ullapool, Leckmelm, north Assynt and Coigach (or even further for some items but this will all be very clear in the labelling!).
